Tornado started in 1984 manufacturing equipment for the oil and gas industry. For over 27 years, our guiding philosophy has been to find ways to make equipment perform more reliably in the field – both ours and other manufacturers.

Introducing trucks
Tornado began building Hydrovacs simply because we were up for the challenge. Several of our employees had extensive experience in the industry, and our designers quickly recognized improvements that could be made to existing, standard equipment.
Combining our passion for heavy equipment with an intuitive knack for smart design, Tornado has developed the ultimate Hydro Excavator that sets the industry standard for excellence.
The next frontier
Tornado will continue to research and develop new products for industrial and oilfield markets. Our expansion internationally will also spread the Tornado brand further afield.
